Setting Up IPTV World Pro on Android TV
Because Android TV has such an open app ecosystem, it's one of the simplest platforms for running IPTV World Pro — most player apps are just a Play Store search away. Here's the full process.

What you’ll need
- An Android TV box, a Chromecast with Google TV, or an Android TV-based smart TV
- A Google account already signed in on the device
- A live IPTV World Pro subscription with your credentials or M3U URL
- A stable wired or Wi-Fi connection
Step-by-step instructions
- 1
Launch the Google Play Store
From the Android TV home screen, open the Play Store app using your remote.
- 2
Look up a compatible player app
Search the store for a supported IPTV player and tap Install. Most of these apps are free to download.
- 3
Open the app and load your playlist
Start the player and choose to add a new playlist — you can use Xtream Codes-style login (username, password, server URL) or paste a direct M3U link.
- 4
Let the channel list and guide sync
Give the app a moment to pull down the full channel lineup and program guide data before you start browsing.
- 5
Set up favorites for quicker access
Most player apps let you star or bookmark the channels you watch most so they're easy to find at the top of the list.
Troubleshooting
No IPTV player shows up in the Play Store
App availability varies by region. Try searching the exact app name, or sideload the APK file through a file manager if it's not listed in your local store.
The playlist fails to load after entering my details
Make sure the server URL doesn't end with an extra slash, and check that the username and password match your welcome email exactly.
Picture is blocky or freezes on and off
Try a lower quality setting inside the player app, or check your connection speed and switch to a wired setup if you can.
The program guide shows nothing
After first setup, give the app a few minutes to finish downloading guide data, then close and reopen it.
